The day when tongues and limbs will bear witness to the killing of every child and bird throughout Gaza,
the day their hands and tongues and every atom in their being will bear witness against them,
the Day of Judgment which they fear and their skins will shudder at.
For what sin was innocence killed, for what sin did the sound of birds disappear in Gaza,
for what sin did fetuses die in their mothers’ bellies before their eyes opened to life and their voices sang in it,
for what sin was the girl deprived of the limbs of her body and she became helpless,
for what sin did sight disappear and freedom obliterated.
They flee from the Day of Judgment, which they know exactly as well as their own eyes.
On the day they are resurrected before the Lord of the Great Throne,
their tongues will speak and bear witness against them,
on the day when there will be no witness against them more than their limbs.
Peace be upon childhood, the day when children will be raised alive and provided for by their Lord.
