Disappointment

Times like these… I wish I had never been created, no one wants to listen to me, everyone points out that I’m wrong!

I thought you were different from them, so I would have been surprised that you were the first to point at me, accuse me, and criticize me..!

But here you are, watching me, trying to make fun of me, trying to get the best out of me.

But here you are, trying to keep me away from my dreams, trying to get me when I’m broken.

And here you are again, trying to keep me away from my friends, trying to catch my mistakes, trying to make me hate myself, trying to destroy my confidence, deliberately hurting me..

Are you far from being a bandage for your wounds, complaining about the roughness of my palm?

Or after I stayed up for long nights with you complaining about the circles in my eyes?

Is this how you thank me? When I come to you escaping from harm, do you hurt me?

Anyway…that will never stop me.
